MERRIAM TURKEY

Experience Merriam Turkey Hunting at Its Finest in Hulett, Wyoming — the “Merriam Turkey Capital of the World”!

Our spring turkey hunts run from April 20th to May 31st, with Over-the-Counter tags and Wyoming’s one-bird-per-hunter regulation. These 3-day guided hunts, typically conducted at a 2:1 hunter-to-guide ratio, take place on pristine private ranches in the Wyoming Black Hills, offering the perfect combination of challenge and opportunity.

Whether you prefer the thrill of a run-and-gun hunt or the strategic patience of ground blinds with decoys, our hunts accommodate both archery and shotgun hunters. Each season, our clients enjoy exceptionally high success rates, harvesting multiple mature Toms each year.

A typical day begins before dawn with a light breakfast at the lodge, followed by a morning hunt at first light. Hunters return to the lodge for brunch, where harvested birds are carefully cleaned and prepared. After a short rest, the afternoon hunt begins around 3 P.M., wrapping up with a hearty home-cooked dinner and comfortable lodge accommodations.

From the excitement of the hunt to the comfort of the lodge, every moment is designed to make your Merriam Turkey adventure unforgettable.
